Part Number: ISO7220M

Can this device replace the opto typically used in the isolated power supplies? If so, can someone provide a sketch of how this will be done?

    Hi Bob,

    If you are referring to the Opto-Coupler in the feedback network that is operating in linear region transmitting analog information then ISO7220 doesn't support this application. The ISO7xxx isolators are meant for digital data transmission and they do not support analog signal transmission by themselves. I hope that answers your questions, thanks.
