ISO5500EVM: Not getting the input pwm signal at output side.

I am trying to drive a n-mosfet (30n60 IC) with ISO5500EVM. The issue is, I am not getting the control signal given to input put PIN (TP4) in the left side at output side .(Vout in the right side)

My connections are

left side
5 Volt between TP10 and TP9
control signal to TP4
TP3 and TP4 are connected to the ground

right side
S, D, and G points are connected to source , drain and gate of the mosfet. And a load is connected to the mosfet and 20 volts is given between the mosfet and the load.
15 Volt is given between TP12 and TP11

It would be really helpful if you could let me know the correct connections.

Hi Siddiq,

It may due to incorrect connection on the DESAT pin. Could you please try to connect JMP2 to see if you can get an output?

Also could you draw a schematic of the MOSFET connection to the external 20V supply?

This is my conenction . I have connected JMP2 and still not getting the output signal at Gate .

Hi Siddiq,

There is a UVLO function on the VCC2 side which may have disabled the driver output. Can you measure the voltage between VCC2 and VE?

Also, can you try?

1. Please connect VIN- to GND1.
2. Please connect JMP8.

Hi xiong,
I have tried connecting VIN- to GND1 and JMP8. Still i am not getting the input signal at gate pin.
voltage between VCC2 and VE is 0V.

am i supposed to get the input signal between gate pin (G) and drain pin (D) of iso5500evm if i dont connect the Mosfet/igbt. I mean when nothing is connected to S, G, D pins .
