Hi, Team,

My customer want to improve the life time for the OPTO, they want to choose the digital Isolator. Can ISO7740 support the ON/OFF control(Such as the input signal always high in the ON condition)? Do you have other low cost solution for this? Thanks!

    Hi Wu,

    Yes, TI digital isolators like ISO7740 can be used to replace opto couplers and input can be static ON/OFF or can be dynamic data with datarate upto 100Mbps.

    ISO7740 is a 4 channel device that replaces 4 opto couplers. If you are only looking for one channel then you can use ISO7710 that will be lower cost than ISO7740. Thanks.
