What happens if i short the two line of CANH and CANL? Does the CAN bus work to transmission of recessive bits continuously? Very thanks.

Hi Brian,
Your understanding is correct, when CANH and CANL are shorted together RX will see a continuous recessive bit (HIGH). Please do note that under this condition if TX is driven dominant (LOW), there will be a large current flow from VCC2 to GND2 and this current is expected to be upto the short-circuit steady-state output current, IOS(SS). Since ISO1050 has dominant time-out of max 700us, the large current flow from VCC2/GND2 should stop after dominant time-out and device should wait for TX to go recessive. Thanks.
