Recommendations for isolated part

Hi there,

Could you please provide recommendations for a part with the following specifications

-  Reinforced Dual-Channel Digital Isolators (1 in 1 out)
- 1500 V reinforced isolation
- Either UL60950 or UL62368 certified (good but not neccesary)

It would be nice if it could be supplied by 3.3V on each side.

For your reference, a part similar to the ISO772x series.

    Hi Dan,

    The ISO7721 in DW and DWV packages may be what you're looking for: it has 1 forward and 1 reverse channel, 1500Vrms maximum working isolation voltage, can be powered by 3.3V on both isolated and non-isolated sides, and is UL60950-1 certified.

    If margin is preferred on the reinforced isolation voltage, the ISO7821 is available in DW and DWW packages.

    I need 1500 V of reinforced voltage. Working voltage will not suffice here.

    Hi Dan,

    The maximum working isolation voltage is equivalent to maximum working reinforced isolation voltage since these are reinforced digital isolator parts. This reinforced voltage level means that normal operation can occur up to this level without affecting the isolator's lifetime or reliability.

    All of the specified ISO77xx and ISO78xx insulation voltages are reinforced, including peak, transient, and surge voltages. Are you expecting surges above 1500V in your system? Where will this isolator be implemented?
