Hi,

Customers want to know the current consumption during device operation for power selection.
Icc1＋Icc2＝max all current consumption
Is my understanding correct?
Please tell me how to estimate the current consumption.

    Hi Yusuke-san,

    Your understanding is correct. Adding ICC1 and ICC2 numbers from datasheet for relevant test conditions would give you overall device current consumption under the stated test conditions. Please do note that ICC2 current value largely depends on the load / termination resistor connected on the bus. Strictly speaking most of this current is consumed by load / termination and not by the device.
