ISO1432: Compatibility with Analog Devices

Greetings. I have been using the ADM2687 from Analog Devices. I would like to know if the ISO1432 from a functionality point of view is a replacement for the ADM2687. In particular the NON use of an external transformer with the ISO1432

Hi David,

Unfortunately we do not currently have an isolated 485 transceiver with integrated isolated power. You would have to achieve isolated power externally such as with an external transformer and transformer driver like the SN6505. The blog linked below has some more information on this.
