ISO1500: Multiple Isolation's layout question

I have 16 ISO1500 on one PCB,my inital layout was to put each isolator and transformer above each other but this would result in a pcb length of a minimum of 10 inches.So iam thinking of putting each isolator to the left side of each isolator.First with this setup would it not be isolated?Second does laying it out this way leave it open to have problems?You can refer to the image the the aqua line area would be logic side,blue would be bus side.Would having the bus next to the logic side be a issue?Any input is appreciated thanks

    Thank you for reaching out to us with your question.

    I understand your concern that having 16 ISO1500 devices or any isolators in one vertical straight line could make the PCB vertical length really long. Even though this is going to make the PCB really long, this is still the best way one can position the isolators as this approach clearly separates devices from one side with another.

    If your isolation requirements is not very high and if you only need isolation for breaking the ground loop then yes, the isolators can be moved around a little bit. The approach that you implemented in the above image where devices are placed to the sides each other can also be used provided you maintain the spacing between all the aqua line and blue line areas. Though the aqua and blue lines are floating independently in your image, there will be some common connections running across the aqua or blue lines such as GND. You can run those lines either through the top and bottom of these aqua and blue line areas.

    I am showing below a representative diagram for approach I described above. This approach makes sure the common lines are connected across and isolation is maintained between the isolated sides.
