Hi team,

I'd like to ask how are the TX and RX work internally, is there any chance that the fail or disconnection of RX affect TX normal waveform?

    Hi George,

    The functional diagram in datasheet, also shown below, describes exactly how the device is. TXD and RXD work independently and not using one doesn't affect the other. Since TXD and RXD channels are connected together on CAN bus side, whatever transmitted on TXD will also appear on RXD. If RXD is not monitored or disconnected, then TXD will still work and vice-versa.

    Is there any particular concern in this regard or it was only an informative question?
