ISO1430: Life Span (EOL)

Hi, 

I am usingRS422 transceiver ISO1430BDWR in our project, Can you please share the life span (EOL) of this RS422 transceiver?

    Hi Vipul,

    Thank you for showing interest in ISO1430. This device is only released in year 2018 and we do not foresee any EOL for this devic in near future especially when we still have its older generation parts that are 12 years old are still active. ISO14xx family of devices is TI's latest isolated RS-485 transceivers family with one of the best performances in the market and is in high demand.

    TI also has a strict and most customer friendly obsolescence policy, I am sharing below a snapshot of our internal policy for obsolescence and also provided the link for more details.

    "Our guidelines state that TI standard products are not eligible for obsolescence if any of these three conditions exist:

    • The product has had any sales within the last five years (seven years for automotive or high-reliability products).
    • The product can be manufactured and has been in production for less than 10 years.
    • The product has current customer demand."
