PGA400 OTP programing

Hi,

I am using TPIC83R00 EVM GUI v1.00, I program IC ones and I got change in GPIO as I write in program in Keil,

problem is next time, when I reset TPIC83R00 and do read all, I am not gating GPIO status High which I got previously.

As you say OTP can program sector by sector, I am having 964b .hex file, can I program for 8 time in OTP?

Please explain me procedure for same.

Thanks,

Tushar

  • Tushar,

When you put the micro in reset and do a read all, the firmware isn't executing, so I wouldn't expect for the GPIO to be high.  When you bring the micro back out of reset, does the GPIO go high again?

Programming sector by sector shouldn't be an issue, but to do it in our GUI, you'll need separate hex files for each piece.  Here is a link that explains what is inside the hex file.  You can use this to separate your hex file for each sector.  Why do you want to program it sector by sector?
