Hi,

I can't work customeed TPS65310EVM without GUI.

Current TPS65310EVM conditions are followings;

- LDO is not used. The VSENSE4 is tied with GND

- Jumpers are set same as Table 4. EVM Jumper for Operation Without Using USB Interface and GUI Software

Can the TPS65310EVM work without conncting VBUS(CON17)?

Hi Kuramochi-san,

The EVM should work when configured properly without needing the GUI or a USB connection. Make sure you have all the jumpers configured correctly, especially the supply for the watchdog (WD) and WD to TPS6531x WD pin. One other thing I see is that when LDO is not used, per the design checklist for this device VSENSE4 should be tied to VMON1, not GND, the datasheet section 8.4.21 says VSENSE4 can be VMON1 or GND, but lets try using VMON1 instead. Please try that. I will look for an EVM for this device tomorrow and if this did not work for you and I have an EVM on hand will try it here.

Thank you for your help.

Though the VSENSE4 was connected to VMON1, the EVM is didn't start works.

Hi,

This problem is solved by moving JP23 to JP24.
BUCK2 was not enough for VIO.
BUCK1 setting: 3.3V
BUCK2 setting; 1.5V
