Hi,

I received the following question from my customer.

The datasheet says that "the respective VMON2 and VMON3 or VSENSE4 and VSENSE5 pin of the unused supply must be connected to VMON1. Alternatively, the VSENSE4 pin can also be connected directly to ground in case the LDO is not used."

Is there any differences connecting VSENS4 to VMON1 and GND when the LDO is not used?

Hi Kuramochi-san,

When the LDO isn't used VSENSE4 can either be connected to GND or to VMON1, it should not be left floating. When the LDO is not used it is less restrictive than the other rails and VSENSE4 can be tied to either GND or VMON1, where as the other pins when not used must be tied to VMON1.
