TPS65917-Q1: The orderable P/N of TPS65917-Q1

Part Number: TPS65917-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TDA2E, DRA726

i found that TPS64917-Q1 P/N in TDA2E EVM is PO917A13DTRGZRQ1, i know that  P means protype, but what does the 13D mean? I searched the datasheet, and the datasheet show below four version for TPS65917-Q1, they are O917A130TRGZRQ1, O917A131TRGZRQ1, O917A132TRGZRQ1, O917A133TRGZRQ1, could you guys please help to check which orderable P/N is corresponding to PO917A13DTRGZRQ1, appreciate your help in advance.

  • Hi Eason,

I have contacted the experts for this device, however please allow for some delays for the holiday season.

Typically, with parts like the TPS65917 there is a silicon revision identifier (A1 which corresponds to 1.1) followed by an OTP (one time programmable) specific code (30, 31, 32, etc.). Looking at the TPS65917 two pager on the web this appears to apply here. However, I don't know what the difference between OTP 3D and OTPs 30, 31, or 32. If you have the full datasheet it likely states what 30, 31, and 32 are.

  • Hi, Kevin

Thanks for your reply, could you please help to check which PMIC is compatible with DRA726APGABCQ1? I mean the orderable P/N of TPS65917-Q1, Thanks.
  • Hi Eason,

I've moved the post to the automotive forum to increase the visibility. Thank you for your patience.
  • Hi Eason,

PO917A13DTRGZRQ1 is a different OTP version. The "A1" means silicon revision 1.1, and the "3D" is the OTP version. So any part number with a different 2-digit OTP revision has a different OTP programming.

The short summary is that 30/31/32/33 are all compatible with DRA726, and we have a user's guide on CDDS which explains how to use each version. If you don't have access to the user's guide, please send me an e-mail (in my profile) and I will send it to you offline.

    Regards,
    Karl
