Login into Target(Minicom)

Hello,

I'm trying to finish setting up the TMS320DM3730 EVM. In the DM3730 software developers guide it says after running the setup.sh, start minicom and login into target using root as the login name. When I start the minicom I'm not able to write anything. How can I login?

Once you flashed your kernel and u-boot into your board then you have to connect UART cable to PC ( COM port 0 /dev/ttyS0)) and power ON the board.
Now , open the minicom with /dev/ttyS0 as serial port and baudrate as 115200.
You can see the login prompt once your board booted well.

Also check the Serial port setup. The Hardware Flow Control should be off.
