CC3000 Host Driver

Hello. I have some questions on the work of the СС3000 Wi-Fi module.

1) The function of the wlan_ioctl_get_scan_results() works correctly? Is there a structure to return the found access points? In what units of measurement returns the parameter "RSSI"? The parameter "security mode" comes back?

2) DHCP mode is supported? Why the netapp_ipconfig() returns a non-existent IP address in the DHCP-mode?

  • i have a question to the FCC certification. If I use the CC3000 module, what is FCC certified, and solder it to my custom board, having a PCB antenna exactly as in the application note stated: Do I need to FCC-certify my module again?

    I was been told, that in any case, a RF emitting device soldered on a PCB, need a new FCC certification. Is that the case also for the CC3000? I am looking for a low cost wifi solution, without the requirement for a new FCC certification. Until now, the only option is know without a need for a FCC certification would be the use of a USB wifi stick. But most MCU dont have a USB host, nor a 802.11n protocol stack. The CC3000 would be perfect, if i dont need to FCC certify my product.
