RF Antenna

Hello,

I don't know if my question is relevant in this place but i need help with my RF antenna. I've designed a PCB for my diploma's project which involves a GSM module.My PCB is compliant to the GSM datasheet.When I tried to take a measurement between RF antenna pin and GND I saw they are leaked to ground.Now my question is:Should be there such a situation or something is wrong?

This is not a general RF forum as such.

- You don't write which type of antenna you are using (a GSM antenna only tells the frequency). Note that some antennas like inverted F have a DC connection to ground.

- You don't write how you are measuring.

- Use a VNA and measure S11 and check the resonance.

I'm using the SIM900 module, it is a GSM module.I've attached the exact components.

These are the components.Now, I don't understand why when I take a measurement between the signal pin of the antenna and ground the voltmeter says there is a short.

that is normal and there is nothing wrong with your circuit. usually the RF path is very close in reading to the GND when you are using a DMM.
