Read status of SM470R1B1M-HT SPI SS pin

I"m trying to read the status of the Slave Select pin on this uC. It is unclear how or even if possible. Any suggestions?

Look at SPI users guide in the product folder.

BIT 4 of SPIPC2 register contains current status of SPI CS pin.

What about BIT 4 of SPIPC3?

This is value if pin is configured as gpio.
