Hello Farhan,
A pin for pin replacement is the LM101AJ, but the performance specs are not exactly the same.
This would be the closest part we have as a pin for pin replacement. The LM741 has better performance and the supply, input and output pins are the same, but compensation/balance scheme is different.
Hi actually i need pin to pin replacement and matching performance. is there no other option available? If i use LM 741 does both offset NULL (LM741) & compensation (LM108A) pins serve the same purpose?
We do not have an exact replacement for the LM108A, but we do have many products that might work, depending upon your appliaction.
On the LM108, the compensation pin is used for stabiity. On newer amplifiers, this is no longer required. If you were to use the LM741, you would remove the capacitors on your compensation pins.
The LM741 has higher input bias current. If that is an importnat parameter here is a link to a table of single channel amplifiers in the CDIP package. Most of these will not require a compensation cap.
