AM3358-EP: Does this mentioned TI processor supports eMMC ? Needed Confirm to go ahead with Design.

Hi All, 

I am using TI AM3358-EP processor on one of my design and needs to interface eMMC to this processor. As Datasheet states it supports MMC and no where mentioned about eMMC. Wonder whether MMC and eMMC both were same w.r.t  pin out and protocol supported.

Could anyone help to confirm whether this processor support eMMC or not ?

    Yes this supports emmc. I don't believe there is much difference, other than it is embedded and does not have spi access that external mmc would have. You can search e2e for am3358 and emmc, and see plenty of hits.
