Hi,

Iam using OMAPL138 for my project .In that I have to use ECAP in capture mode to count number of incoming pulse and its duration.

I searched in "OMAPL138_StarterWare_1_10_04_01" for a example code.but unfortunately it is not there.

Is example code available for Ecap somewhere else ?

If yes,It will help us to reduce the development time.

Hi Satheesh,

There is no ECAP example in Processor SDK RTOS, just a basic peripheral initialization located in the CSL (see ~ti/pdk_omapl138_x_x_x/packages/ti/csl/src/ip/ecap/V0).

There is also a driver in Processor SDK Linux, see drivers/pwm/pwm-tiecap.c and the following User Guide: software-dl.ti.com/.../Foundational_Components.html

We are not using RTOS .We need example code just like in "OMAPL138_StarterWare_1_10_04_01"

I am not aware of such examples. Looping the starterware team to elaborate if needed.

Unfortunately, we don't have any eCAP example code for the OMAPL138 in our SDK other than what's already been suggested by Yordan.

Is there any flowchart or some kind of procedure regarding overall flow of the library functions to setup ECAP in a capture mode.

I am new to ECAP peripheral.Please help us if possible.
