Hi,

For the above device, what is the recommended main crystal value (OSCIN)? I understand that it has to be between 5MHz and 20MHz.

    Yes you are correct. 5Mhz to 20Mhz is the input range.
    Selection of actual value used is up to the user, and may depend on other system parameters and performance desired.
