I have a simple yet an important question that I haven't been able to find in the datasheet of the device. I want to sample inputs from six accelerometers and a gyroscope at a sampling rate of around 100 SPS. I'm using ADS1278-HT ADC with its extreme temperature range that's suitable for my application. On the datasheet, with the lowest rate mode called "Low Speed". the typical data rate is specified as 10547 SPS. There's a minimum input clock frequency in that speed mode (100kHz), but to minimum data rate. I'm using a 4MHz clock input. I'd like to know if there is a lowest minimum sample rate required for the ADC to operate correctly. Oversampling is possible, but I'd prefer to have the lowest available data rate.
