  Can you tell me the output current for OUT PINS. I am using AM26LS31, the output current  20mA is lower for our application , we want to use the IC with high output driver,can you give us some suggest?

    Both of these device are specified the same way with respect to drive strength. The VOH/VOL IOH/IOL values are identical. They both comply to RS422 standard.
    Assuming you need military temp range and hermetic packaging, there are a couple other options. The RS485 devices meet specifications of RS422, and are stronger drivers.
    You can evaluate the DS96F174MQML, or the DS96F172MQML RS485 drivers. The RS485 devices are not specified as single ended with VOH/VOL levels, and only have differential VOD parameters defined.
