Hello Team,

My customer is asking y-axis scale of below start-up waveform.

The requirement of ramp rate is between 0.165 ~ 33 V/ms.

Customer will use this LDO for making 2.5V from 3.3V input.

Can this meet the requirement? Thank you in advance.

    Hey Kenneth,

    It is likely the LDO will be able to make the required ramp rate given how wide the range is; however, the start up ramp rate will depend on the output capacitance in the system and whether the LDO is loaded during start up.

    Can you give us an idea of how much capacitance is on the part and whether or not the part is loaded during start up?
    If you could also give the split of capacitance between ceramic/electrolytic/tantalum ect. that would also be useful.
