SN74AUC1G07: Rise/Fall Times

Part Number: SN74AUC1G07

Hi,

I was wondering if you specify output rise/fall times for any of the tiny logic gates like the AUC1G07 device? I took a look at multiple datasheets and only see input rise/fall times.

I know it will be dependent on load conditions but wanted to see if there is any data that TI has on approximate rise/fall times for a certain load.

Thanks!

  • Hello,

No, we generally don't specify the output transition time on our logic parts.

The AUC family has extremely fast edges -- transition times will be 1ns.

LVC parts are a bit slower, with typical transition time in the 10ns range.

AUP parts have the smoothest outputs, but also are pretty fast -- I believe they come in around 2ns typically.

If you have an IBIS model viewer, you can see some waveforms directly in our IBIS models available in the product folders for each device. A simulator that supports IBIS is better so you can add loading and get an idea of actual operation / signal integrity.
