SN74LVC1G00: K3 vs K6 suffix

Genius 15419 points
Part Number: SN74LVC1G00

Hi Experts,

Good day!

I have this concern from client asking about the difference between the two OPNs:
SN74LVC1G00DCK3 and SN74LVC1G00DCK6.

I couldn't find any information about these suffixes even the OPN from the datasheet. I assumed they're just the same.
Just curious, can you confirm what are the suffixes for this NAND gate device?

Thanks for your guidance.

Regards,
Archie A.

  • Hey Archie,

Where are they seeing these OPNs? These aren't listed in the data sheet or TI website.

  • Hello Dylan,

Yes, they are not available from TI domain. They might seeing them from one of our authorized distributor, thru Digi-Key site. Those components are still links to their respective datasheet directed to TI domain.

    Any thought on these?

    Thanks you.

    Regards,
    Archie A.

  • The supplier for these OPNs is not TI but Rochester Electronics, which means that these OPNs are obsolete.

These suffixes are not mentioned in any of the old revisions of the datasheet that I could find. This means that by now, nobody knows.

Changes to electrical characteristics would not result in such a suffix. Similar to the R/T/J suffixes, I would expect the 3/6 variants to have different reels, or a different orientation in the reel.
