Hi Art,
Do you have some more context, such as where you see just "74HC107 "? I can't seem to find any mention without a CD in front of the part number.
The 74HC107, SN74HC107, and CD74HC107 are the same device made by different companies.
The 74HC107 is made by Philips NXP Nexperia. The CD74HC107 is made by Harris TI. Comparing their datasheets show that the CD74HC107 has a wider operating temperature range and allows longer input rise/fall times.
Hi Art,
I may have misunderstood your original question, as I thought you were referring to the TI website. Clemens has given an excellent explanation.
