SN74AXCH1T45: 2.5V to 1.2V at 12.5MHz?

Hi Experts,

Good day.

We would like to ask if this 1-bit translator device SN74AXCH1T45DRY can efficiently translate 2.5V to 1.2V signal at 12.5Mhz?

Are there any better solution for this rate of conversion?

Its datasheet states that the device can handle up to 500Mhz of conversion from 1.8V to 3.3V voltage level.

The specs you need seem to still fit into the datasheet specs. I don't have an exact answer as our translation expert is still off for the holidays. Let me see if I can assign this to someone who can give a more definite answer.

Hi Archie,

This device is a voltage level shifter for digital signals. Is your 12.5Mhz a digital square wave signal, or 25Mbps?

Not sure what you mean by efficient but yes this device can down translate a 25Mbps signal from 2.5V to 1.2V. No other better solutions for a single bit digital signal.
