SN74AVC2T244: PCB footprint that can be compatible with both DQE (1.4x1.0mm) and DQM (1.8x1.2mm) X2SON package?

Team,

X2SON DQE (1.4x1.0mm) and DQM (1.8x1.2mm) package have slighly different dimension.

Do you know if it is possible to use a PCB footprint that could be compatible for both?
The idea would be to enable to solder DQE or DQN package type depending on which one you can source at this point of time.

    Whether PCB can be compatible for two different packages depends on the landing pattern, not the package dimension. 

    The land pattern refers to the size of the pads and outline for a given part that should be designed onto a PCB.  Soldering processes require that the land pattern should always be slightly larger than the footprint for any packages.

    Since DQE and DQN packages have different landing pattern, it's not recommended to use the same PCB footprint for both. But if the customer wants to share the same PCB, please ensure compliance of the landing patterns in the d/s and SON PCB guidance.
