What is the difference between CLVTH16245AMDLREP and 8V16245AMDLREPG4? They look like exactly the same parts. However, we need to be sure they are the same before we add the CLVTH16245AMDLREP to our database under the same number as the already existing 8V16245AMDLREPG4.

Thank you for the quick response.

Note: I know the E4/G4 suffix of TI parts but I asked because of the different prefix of these parts (CLVTH vs 8V). May I ask why a different prefix is used here? Is it due to the limitation of the number of characters in one part number? Does the prefix 8V mean anything in general?

Hi Martin,

You are correct it seems the G4 pushed it over the character limit so the family/prefix were shortened. These are the exact same device.
