SN74LVC1G07: output level question

Part Number: SN74LVC1G07
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74HCS21, SN74HCS08, SN74LVC08A

Hi

I have a question about SN74LVC1G07.

VCC(3V3_PEX) voltage level with impact output (Y) voltage level?

If Tri_REG_PG use 3.3V is ok? thanks!

Jeff

  • The '07 has an open-drain output, so the supply voltage does not directly affect the output voltage; the pull-up voltage can be higher or lower. (A higher supply results in higher drive strength for a low output, but this does not matter in this application.)

The input voltage should be at least as high as the supply (actually, VIH); 3.3 V is OK.

(All those Schottky diodes are not cheap; if the inputs have matching voltages, consider AND gates like the SN74HCS08/SN74HCS21/SN74LVC08A.)
