I've been looking at the SN74LS07 open collector buffer. I would like to know if you have any documentation that better explains the operation of the internal circuit of each gate.
Basically, the component needs a pull-up resistor to provide the expected output. My question boils down to, with an input at a high level, will the voltage at the output be the voltage coming from the pull-up resistor (the internal output transistor blocks)? And, for a low-level input, is the output connected to power ground (the internal output transistor conducts)?
