CD74HC238M shows EOL. Did it just change packaging to CD74HC238M96 or are there any other differences? Datasheet seems to indicate no differences but it is not clear.

Hi Connor,

Yes, the M and M96 designators are for the same package. That's Harris's version of our D package, aka SOIC.

Yes. But the M96 is marked as "not available" on the web site; consider using the SN74HCS238‍DR instead.
