While trying to look up the underlying technology process used in wafer fabrication of devices I have noticed discrepancies (mostly with the SN74 product line). A good example of this is the SN74ABT827DW. The tool shows it as "CMOS" but even the datasheet indicates that it is BiCMOS. Even the part number having ABT alludes to it being built on TI's Advanced BiCMOS Technology.
Examples below. It appears that the reliability tool is not reliable when it comes to fabrication process. I have seen other parts that were once listed in the tool as BiCMOS now being shown as CMOS...
