I am using SN74LVC1G00, but it broke down at my business partner. Upon investigation, the output terminal was found to be short-circuited. (about 3Ω)
I believe that the internal nMOS was shorted due to overvoltage.
(1) Is there a maximum rating for the output terminal?
(2) If overvoltage is applied, will the failure mode be short circuit?
Please give me an answer.
