CD74HC161: ESD rating - Human Body Model

Part Number: CD74HC161

Hi,

Can you please provide the HBM - ESD rating for the devices CD74HC161E, CD74HC161M96 and CD74HC161M?
I could not get this information either from the datasheet not from the quality, reliability and environmental details of the above parts.

Please provide us the above information at the earliest.

Thanks & Regards,
A.Deepak Kumar.

  • Hi Deepak,

These device are not tested for ESD as they are pretty old devices. However, I can give you an estimation that the CD74HC devices generally have an HBM of 1kV.

Keep in mind this is only an estimation and not an exact value.

  • Hi Albert,

Recently, i raised a query for ESD rating of CD74HC4538PWR device and it was mentioned to have an ESD rating of 4kV HBM.

I would like to know, if it was a tested value in case of CD74HC4538PWR device or not.

I am asking this because both the devices are of the same series CD74HC and both the devices are revised during the same time frame of october 2003.

Your input with this regards is highly appreciatable.

    Thanks & Regards,

    A.Deepak Kumar.

  • Hi Deepak,

Unfortunately as I said, older devices do not have ESD tested. We do not have an exact value for you.
