Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74LVC1G07, LMV7219
Hi
Does TI have 1.8V to 0.5V level shift? Data rate need abobe 20Mhz.
We use 74AXC8T245 but it only support to minimum 0.65V.
Thanks!
Jeff

Hi Jeff,
Unfortunately, we AXC is our lowest voltage level shifter as of this time.
Please help provide block diagram / schematics to help further verify if any additional suggestion is feasible, thanks.
Best Regards,
Michael.
It would be possible to use a fast comparator like the LMV7219 with a reference voltage of 1.8 V / 2 = 0.9 V, add an open-drain buffer like the SN74LVC1G07, and pull the output up to 0.5 V (with a resistor that is low enough so that the rising edge is fast enough). (The separate buffer is needed because there is no fast comparator with open-drain output.)
Hi Landisch,
Do you have more detail circuit or block diamgram for using LMV7219 + SN74LVC1G07 for this 1.8V to 0.5V application?
Thank you!
Jeff
Hi Landisch,
thanks for your feedback, we will try this solution for 0.5V application.
