TXB0102: TXB0102DCUR

Part Number: TXB0102

Hi Team, I am using TXB0102DCUR level shifter in our project but it is not working beyond 100Kbps, beyond 100kbps its rise and fall time increase and at 2.5Mbps we get Vcc voltage level output side, not a pulses. our direction is 5VccB to 3.3V VccA side. it supposed to work upto 100Mbps as per datasheet but not working please find schematic image. applying signal from B2 to A2. please provide your feedback as soon as possible we are looking.

  • The capacitive load should not be larger than about 70 pF; see section 7.3.3 of the datasheet. Do you have long traces, connectors, or cables?

For unidirectional signals, you should use a unidirectional translator like the TUX0202.

  • we checked voltage level shifter "74LVC2T45DC,125" working well at same place.

  • i don,t think capacitance is reaching 70pF because output is connected  microcontroller UART RX  pins, still will observe

  • Hi India,

It is mentioned the signal is for B to A. Note that the device do not have high drive strength on it's own and depends on the driver to drive the line. See section 7.3.2 to help ensure the MCU provides at least 2 mA for the TXB device.

Please further note that this seems to be for fixed direction i.e. not auto bidirectional and fixed directional devices similar to Clemen's recommendation for the TXU family or the LVC family with higher drive strength is a more suitable recommendation, thanks.

    Best Regards,

    Michael.
