SN74HC4020: obsolete parts

Part Number: SN74HC4020

Tool/software:

It seems that the SN74HC4020PW recently became obsolete. Are other packages of this part soon to become obsolete? While the SN74HC4020PWR and the CD4020BPWR are still active, is it possible to get a roadmap of discrete logic components like these in order to anticipate their obsolescence timeline? I can understand why these parts wouldn't remain popular with cheaper, reprogrammable micros available in a smaller footprint.  However, that is not an option for my designs.
