SN74LVC2G02: |tPLH-tPHL| question

Part Number: SN74LVC2G02

Tool/software:

HI team,

Sercomm want to use a NOR gate chip as an inverter, requiring a higher data rate and a smaller |tPLH-tPHL|.

We have initially selected the chip model: sn74lvc2g02.

We have the following questions about the parameters of this chip and would like to ask you:

1. In the datasheet of the sn74lvc2g02 chip, we only found the parameter tpd, and did not find the specific values of tPLH, tPHL and |tPLH-tPHL|, but the datasheet describes that tPLH and tpHL are the same as tpd. Therefore, I would like to ask you whether tpd and |tPLH-tPHL| are equal in numerical and physical sense?

2. If they are not equal, can you provide the specific values of tPLH, tPHL and |tPLH-tPHL| for our reference?

Note: For example, the description of tPLH, tPHL and |tPLH-tPHL| parameters in the datasheet of other chips.

Thanks

Lillian

  • Most devices have outputs that are designed to be symmetrical, so tPLH and tPHL are similar, and TI specifies only tpd as the worst case.

    |tPLH − tPHL| is the pulse width distortion, i.e., the difference between rising and falling edges. TI does not specify this for most devices.

What is the supply voltage? At 3.3 V, LVC is the fastest logic family; at 2.5 V or lower, it's AUC.
