CD74HCT14: Inverter IC

Part Number: CD74HCT14

Tool/software:

I have ordered Inverter IC P/N 595-CD74HCT14PWR from digi-key/mouser which affects my PCB 5 volt rail, but when I order same IC from Texas instrument it works fine.

The one which got delivered from TI has TI logo on the IC, while the other which i got from digikey/mouser doesnot have logo on the IC.
What could be the reason, since its the same part number?

  • The marking change was announced in PCN#20221122000.0.

Independently from that, there also was a change to a new die, announced in PCN#20220328001.1. This did not change the guaranteed datasheet limits, so it appears that your circuit goes outside the recommended operating conditions. Please show the schematic, and an oscilloscope trace including the input signal.
