SN74LVC1G17: SN74LVC1G17

Part Number: SN74LVC1G17
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC44273

Tool/software:

We are using SN74LVC1G17 with supply voltage of 3.3V, output external resistor of 10-ohm and capacitive load of 1.5nF.

the switching frequency is 500Khz.

the component Max Output Current Rating is 50mA.

In steady-state mean calculation, the average output current is much lower the max allowed.

However, during the transients, the max current can theoretically reach 3.3V/10-ohm = 330mA, which is above the rating.

Can this cause any damage to the component?
