    The HCS device does not have overvoltage-tolerant inputs and cannot do this.

    The main difference between the AHC (SN74AHC573), LV-A, LVC, and LVT devices is the output drive strength (4 mA, 8 mA, 24 mA, 32 mA); to reduce EMI problems, choose the smallest one that is sufficient for your application.
