I don't think there is a difference between these two parts except for the temperature rating. I have been trying to find out exactly what SN64 is, but I have come up empty on it. I know that SN54 is a military rated part, and SN74 is our commercial line. The consensus around here is that SN64 is some type of old industrial standard that is between the two. I wish I had a better answer for you.
