Hello,

Do I need series termination resistors on the signal lines interfacing with 1.5 ft cable so that oscillation or ringing can be prevented?  The power supply of the device is 5V for my application.

    The SN74LVC16T245 does not integrate series resistors, so if necessary there should be external series resistors to minimize signal overshoot and undershoot.

    This app note also has additional information about termination options. Pages 20 to 22 goes into detail of possible output termination options, and when they should/should not be implemented.
