SN74ALVCH16373: EOL issue of ZRDR package

Part Number: SN74ALVCH16373

Hi team,

It seems that SN74ALVCH163ZRDR is not sold and it's been replaced by 74ALVCH163ZRDR.

Are both devices equal on package, pin layout and performance, ot not?

Thanks.

  • Hi Sam,

Are you looking for a 74ALVCH163ZRDR or a 74ALVCH16373ZRDR?  One of those exists and is orderable in our store, the other does not exist and never did from what I can find.

I see the 74ALVCH16373ZRDR as being available to order/ship and having millions of units stocked. Here is a link to the TI store page for that device.

Also, do you have a datasheet for the 74ALVCHxxxx device you are looking for?  It would help me figure this out.

  • Hi Maier,

    Sorry for typo. It's 74ALVCH16373ZRDR.

A customer used SNALVCH16373ZRDR in old times, but it's not available now. Instead, the store has 74ALVCH16373ZRDR. Are these same? T The two datasheets are exactly same as sces020i.pdf (16-BIT TRANSPARENT D-TYPE LATCH WITH 3-STATE OUTPUTS--SN74ALVCH16373 (Rev. I) ) in our ESP.

    Thanks.
  • These two should be identical - I'm not sure what the difference is, but I would guess it was either an acquisition or a name change for a customer. In logic, the function, 16373 in this case, typically denotes both how the part works and the pinout, and the family, LVCH, indicates the electrical specs/features. The SN and 74 basically have no meaning besides indicating that this is a TI part.
