SN74LVC3G14: Internal circuit of this device

Part Number: SN74LVC3G14

Dear Team,

Please share me the internal circuit of this device,

Regards,

  • Hello Prasanna,

I can answer specific questions about a device and how it operates in a particular system, however I can't just post a design for one of our devices.

Is there something in particular that you want to use this device for that I might be able to help with?
  • Hello Emrys,

I want use it as schmit trigger withRC ciruit connected from output to input,

So i want to know layout constraints for the RC circuit .

    Regards,

    Prasanna G

  • Thanks Prasanna,

It looks like you are creating an oscillator from the first inverter - is that the case with the other two as well?

Since this device is a Schmitt-trigger inverter, the input signal rate is independent of the input signal, however the resistor value should be chosen to avoid drawing too much current from the device (be careful not to exceed the maximum ratings).

Making an oscillator in this fashion is definitely not a problem, however the frequency accuracy from part to part and across temperature will be very poor (see the voltage thresholds listed in the datasheet).
