CB3Q level shifter

Hi,

We have used a SN74CB3T16211 in our design.

We basically want to shift 5V input to 3.3V output.

But due to the unavailability of the above chip (BGA version),

we are thinking to use the CB3Q equivalent of the same

SN74CB3Q16211. It looks like the chip will give 3.3V output

if the Vcc is 2.5V

 

My question, are the inputs still 5V tolerant when Vcc = 2.5V ?

Please confirm.

    Hi,

    Can somebody please answer my question.

    It is a bit urgent as we are going for assembly of our boards and need this confirmed before

    the boards are sent for assembly.

    It is only because the CB3T device is not in stock with TI as well as the distributors.
