Hi Everyone,

Can anyone help me with the problem I am having using TXB0102 to drive CSD16321 N-channel FET please.

I need 5V to drive the gate of CSD16321 FET, so I am using TXB0102 to Level Translator from 3.3V (uC) to 5V.

I the problem I am having is I can't see 5V at the high side of the TXB0102, May I know why ?

If I use Voltmeter to check the voltage, it works fine. I wonder why is it happening.

can anyone help me with that ?

Hello Satya,
The TXB has a very weak drive current and isn't intended to be a gate driver for a power FET like the CSD16321. Typically a gate driver will need drive strength measured in Amps, not mA. I would recommend using something that is intended for this application such as the LM5109A.

There are many devices available from TI that are designed to drive MOSFET gates. www.ti.com/.../overview.html
